Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition Breaks Cover at Rs 26.70 Lakh

Jeep is celebrating its 85th anniversary, and to mark this milestone, the brand has launched the 85th Anniversary Edition of the Jeep Compass. The Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition is priced at Rs 26.70 lakh (ex-showroom). Limited to just 85 units, the special edition gets several cosmetic and interior updates, making it a more premium and distinctive offering compared to the regular variants. The Compass 85th Anniversary Edition features a range of exterior and interior enhancements while retaining the SUV’s core design and mechanical specifications. Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition

The new Compass 85th Anniversary Edition is available in five colour options. It gets 18-inch gloss-black alloy wheels, along with an 85th Anniversary Edition decal on the tailgate and sides of the vehicle. Apart from these additions, the overall exterior design remains similar to the regular variant. Inside, the SUV gets a new 85th Anniversary accessory pack that enhances the cabin’s premium appeal. The cabin features black leatherette seats with Mayan Gold stitching, sunroof illumination, Mayan Gold accents on the dashboard, and a digital IRVM with an integrated dashcam.

The brand has not made any changes to the feature list. It continues to offer features such as a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 8-way powered driver and co-driver seats, a 9-speaker Alpine audio system, connected car features, among others. The safety features of the vehicle include 6 airbags, TPMS, 360-degree camera, ESP, ISOFIX child seat mount, among other features.

Mechanically, the Compass remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 168 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque. The engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The Compass is available with both 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrain options. The Compass is one of the most capable off-roaders in its segment, thanks to its robust build quality and powerful diesel powertrain. It continues to compete with the likes of the Mahindra XUV 7XO, Tata Harrier, and other SUVs in the segment.
