Adventure Motorcycles are gradually becoming very popular in India. KTM launched its first small-displacement adventure sports motorcycle, KTM 390 Adventure, in early 2020. Buoyed by the phenomenal response of the ADV 390, the company also launched the new KTM 250 Adventure in the Indian market last year. Now, the price of the KTM 250 Adventure has been slashed massively & so this might be the perfect time to own this quarter-litre ADV.

As you can see in the above table, the price of the KTM 250 Adventure has been reduced by Rs 25,000 and that's a massive amount for a quarter-litre motorcycle. The KTM 250 Adventure was launched in India in November 2020 at an introductory starting price of Rs 2.48 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. After a series of price hikes, its last recorded price in June 2021 was Rs 2.55 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. But now, the company has slashed the price of this motorcycle. The KTM 250 Adventure now costs just Rs 2.30 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. At this price point, it is a great value for money offering.

However, it needs to be mentioned that this is a limited period offer. These slashed prices will remain valid from July 14, 2021 - August 31, 2021. What is the exact reason for this price correction step by KTM India, that hasn't been specified. It is certainly due to low sales of the motorcycle as it was launched with quite a steep price tag. However, now it is certainly a great time for prospective buyers to own this motorcycle. Also, according to the sources, KTM dealerships have been encouraged to push the KTM Duke 200 and Duke 250 customers towards the KTM 250 Adventure & boost its sales.
KTM 250 Adventure - Engine Specifications
The new KTM 250 Adventure is powered by a BS6 compliant 248.8cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 30 PS of power at 9000 RPM and 24 Nm of peak torque at 7250 RPM.
