The Polo has always been a driver enthusiast car and with the minimalistic design changes for a decade, the car still pleases the eye. Volkswagen is offering Polo with a hefty discount of Rs 45,000 which is further seen as Rs 20,000 as the exchange bonus, Rs 10,000 as the loyalty and another Rs 15,000 as a corporate offer. However, the latter depends on the Class A and Class B categories which the dealers can explain it better once you enquire about the Polo.
Currently, Volkswagen offers Polo in two different engines - a 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol motor and a more powerful, 1.0L TSI which is the turbocharged petrol unit. Both the engines are BS6 compliant. The former generates a 75 bhp with 95 Nm of peak torque. This engine gets mated to a 5-speed stick shift.
The stretched version of the Polo, Vento too has been in the market for a decade and is surviving on the fresh facelift and model editions. Under the hood, it carries a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, BS6 compliant turbocharged petrol motor. This is the same engine as seen on the Polo too.
This unit pumps out 110 PS of power with a peak torque of 175 Nm and gets mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard and an optional 6-speed auto unit. Volkswagen is offering discount worth Rs 65,000 on the Highline Plus variant which is further broken down into Rs 40,000 as cash discount and another Rs 25,000 as an exchange bonus. The Highline variant which is available at Rs 9.99 lakh also gets Rs 25,000 as an exchange bonus.
In other news, these are the discount figures that we know both the cars receive. You can personally visit or enquire the nearest dealership as to what are the new offers on both cars. The full-import T-Roc which is sold in India as CBU does not get any discount offer.
