Maruti Suzuki Fronx Velocity Edition Launched For Every Variant - Starts At Rs 7.29 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has announced the launch of Fronx Velocity Edition for all 14 variants. The Velocity Edition now starts from the base Sigma trim with a price tag of Rs 7.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The Velocity Edition will give exclusive accessories upgrades to all the variants. Maruti Suzuki Fronx Velocity Edition
The Velocity Edition will offer additional accessories to the variants but different variants will get different accessories and colour themes. Amongst the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine variants, the base spec Sigma Velocity Edition accessories consists of four add-ons while the Delta, Delta+, and Delta(O) get 12 additional accessories. The upper spec 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine option which includes the Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha variants gets additional accessories as compared to the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine option variants.

The accessory pack only adds cosmetic updates to the variants. On the features front, the Fronx comes with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a head-up display, 360-camera, automatic climate control, and wireless charging among other features.

Maruti Fronx Velocity Edition Engine Options
Maruti Fronx comes with a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine which produces 88 bhp of power and 113 Nm of peak torque. This engine is available with a choice of a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automatic gearbox. The other available engine option is the 1.0-litre K-series 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. This engine produces 99 bhp of power and 147.6 Nm of peak torque. Both engines come with idle start-stop technology for better efficiency
Verdict
The launch of Velocity edition for all the variants will help the brand in getting more customers. The customers will have the benefit of getting cosmetic accessories at a reasonable price with the new pricing of the Velocity pack variants. The Velocity Edition will also give a distinctive look to the SUV.
