This modification is carried out by Eimor Customs and the owners, Mritunjay and Joy believe that art and motorcycle are not two different things. Well, that surely explains their creativity around the FZX where they have kept the aesthetics of the bike but also added a little bit of punch that highlights it in the crowd.
First things first, this bike has now been converted into a single-seater. They have replaced the stock handlebar with a shorter and meaner one. Secondly, they have shortened the seat frame by 25% and boy, it looks good. Lastly, the stock tyres were replaced by off-road ones so the motorcycle can perform a little better.
The main attraction of this modified FZX is its custom paint job. The turquoise blue shade with the chosen art form on the tank. This really looks neat. Mind you, the original shade of this bike was Matt Copper.
Yamaha FZX is powered by a 149 cc BS6 compliant petrol motor. This unit churns out 12.2 bhp at 7250 RPM with a maximum torque of 13.3 Nm at 5500 RPM. A 5-speed manual transmission is seen as a standard fitment. It also gets a single-channel ABS with disc brakes at both front and rear tyres. Suspension-wise, the front is equipped with a telescopic fork whereas the rear gets a 7-step adjustable monocross suspension.
Feature-wise, Yamaha FZX gets a digital speedometer, LED daytime running lights, mobile app connectivity, electric start, clock, kill switch, side stand cut-off engine switch, pillion grab rail and others. This bike is available in three colour options - Matt Copper, Matt Black and Metallic Blue. Yamaha FZX is priced at Rs 1.27 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
