Mercedes-AMG SL 55 Roadster Launched In India at Rs 2.35 Cr.

Mercedes-Benz India has introduced the all-new seventh-generation AMG SL 55 Roadster in the Indian market, with a starting price of Rs 2.35 crore (ex-showroom). The SL 55 will be imported to the country via the CBU route. It is available in two trim levels and offers customers a choice of 8 exterior color options and 5 interior upholstery options. Mercedes-AMG SL 55 Roadster

The SL 55 Roadster is now the second cabriolet available from Mercedes-Benz India. It has graceful body lines and a Panamericana front grille, embracing the most recent design language from Mercedes. The huge Mercedes-Benz logo on the front grille, adds to the car's aggressive appearance. The SL 55 Roadster has a sleek rear profile enhanced by LED tail lights and a quad exhaust arrangement while rolling on 21-inch high-performance tyres. The soft top variant, which can be electrically lowered in only 15 seconds, is also available in the SL 55. There are two colour choices for the soft top.

Mercedes-AMG SL 55 Roadster - Interior

Inside the SL 55 Roadster, you'll find a luxurious interior featuring premium AMG performance seats adorned with Alcantara and carbon fiber inserts. The cabin is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital driver display and an 11.9-inch MBUX touchscreen infotainment system. Additional comfort features include ventilated and heated seats with a massage function, along with a powerful 1220W 17-speaker Burmester sound system. The vehicle also offers wireless charging capabilities, among other amenities. In terms of safety, the SL 55 Roadster boasts eight airbags, pedestrian protection, a Pre Safe system, active lane-keeping assist, and various other safety features.

Mercedes-AMG SL 55 - Engine Specifications

The SL 55 Roadster comes fitted with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, delivering an impressive power output of 473 bhp and a peak torque of 700 Nm. This potent engine is paired with a 9-speed MCT automatic transmission. Acceleration-wise, the SL 55 is capable of reaching 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. The top speed of the vehicle is electronically limited to 295 km/h.
