The Royal Enfield Himalayan is one of the best bikes for anyone who wants to explore the trails and go off-roading. However, we have this bike, which is known as the MJR Roach and is based on the RE Himalayan. The bike, in addition to the custom body style, gets a turbocharged motor, which makes it a real monster. Built at the Royal Enfield's Technical Centre in the UK by the Royal Enfield Custom CRew, the MJR Roach uses a 411 cc engine, which was sourced from a wrecked bike. The motor was then fixed into a Himalayan chassis and the journey began. The custom crew then worked to fix a rear-mounted Garrett GT 125 turbo that provided a maximum boost of 1 bar, i.e. about 50 hp. The bike now features a custom-made screamer pipe with Goodridge plumbing throughout. The rev limit of the Royal Enfield Himalayan Turbo's engine has been raised as well.

To further boost the performance, the bike gets a custom K&N air filter, upgraded fuel pump, light-weight lithium-ion battery and Continental TKC80 tyres to make it compatible to be used in the dirt and places where the traction is usually low. The front forks were replaced with the MX forks which have resulted in a significant decrease in the ride height of the bike. No modifications or upgradations were made to the wheels of the size and the bike continues to feature a 21-inch front wheel.
The MJR Roach features a modern and funky design with lots of exposed parts and cages. The bike gets a stretched swing arm, a manga-inspired livery, and custom headlamp setup which gives it a distinctive look. Just like the front, the rear suspension too has been worked upon and the Royal Enfield Himalayan Turbo now gets a single-sided swingarm at the rear and has been lowered and re-valved.
