Reports suggest that this motorcycle will be a 160cc Duke, which will compete against the Yamaha MT-15 V2, Bajaj Pulsar N160, and the Hero Xtreme 160R. From what we can see in the teasers, the 160 Duke will get a design that's similar to the 200 Duke, featuring the same sharp bodywork we have been seeing all these years.

This motorcycle will be replacing the 125 Duke, but unlike the 125, which is a globally-available motorcycle, the 160 Duke is likely going to be an India-specific motorcycle. Not much is known about the motorcycle, but there are a few things we can infer from the teaser.

Given its familiarity with the 200 Duke, the 160 Duke is likely going to be powered by a re-engineered version of its bigger sibling, It will also feature the familiar trellis frame, suspended on WP Apex USD forks and a monoshock but without any degree of adjustability. It will also likely carry over the familiar TFT screen setup, and the alloy rims also appear similar to the lightweight rims from the 390 Duke and the RC 390. We can also expect things like dual-channel ABS and traction control to be featured here.

Verdict

This new addition to the KTM Duke lineup should be making its debut sometime soon, likely in the next couple of months. This will make Team Orange even more accessible to many buyers who have nothing but performance in their minds.
