RE Bullet 650: Design

Royal Enfield has retained every visual cue that makes a Bullet 650 unmistakable with the rounded headlamp with pilot lamps, long bench-style seat, wide chrome handlebars, squared-off rear fender, and hand-painted tank pinstripes. The familiar teardrop tank now wears the signature winged Royal Enfield badge, reinforcing the lineage and two colour options, Cannon Black and the India-exclusive Battleship Blue, give the motorcycle a distinctly retro yet premium presence without straying from its roots.
The RE Bullet 650 sits on the brand's robust steel-tubular spine frame, the same architecture used by the Super Meteor, Classic 650, and Shotgun. Suspension hardware includes 43mm telescopic forks at the front and twin shocks at the rear, tuned for comfort and stability. The motorcycle rides on spoke wheels with 19-inch front / 18-inch rear tubed tyres, maintaining a classic visual appeal while ensuring confident road manners. Braking is handled by a 320mm front disc and 300mm rear disc, supported by dual-channel ABS. With a kerb weight of 243 kg and a 14.8-litre tank, 800mm seat height, and neutral riding posture, the 650 Bullet is built for steady, long-haul highway riding rather than outright sportiness.

Engine & Performance
The most dramatic change lies under the tank. The Bullet 650 borrows Royal Enfield's proven 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin, producing 47PS and 52.3Nm. Paired with a 6-speed gearbox and slip-and-assist clutch, the engine promises smoother refinement and effortless touring capability compared to the thumpy singles that came before it. This is the Bullet's first-ever twin-cylinder configuration, bringing stronger mid-range pull, better cruising ability, and an overall leap in refinement, without abandoning the unmistakable old-school character Bullet fans cherish.
Features: Classic Dials Enhanced With Modern Tech

Royal Enfield has kept the Bullet's dashboard retro at first glance, while integrating modern features. The semi-digital cluster combines an analogue speedometer with a digital readout for trip data, fuel level, gear position and service information. Additional features include, LED headlamp, adjustable brake and clutch levers, USB Type-C charging port, and turn-by-turn navigation via the optional Tripper pod, and more.

Verdict
The Bullet 650 represents the largest and most important transformation in the Bullet's 93-year history. It retains the unmistakable charisma, stance and visual purity that made the Bullet a cultural icon, but introduces modern performance and refinement through the twin-cylinder engine and updated platform. For riders who grew up with the Bullet's legacy but longed for more power, smoothness and long-distance comfort, theBullet 650 stands poised to become the perfect evolution, one that respects its heritage while preparing the nameplate for the next decade.
