The cult bike maker Royal Enfield seems to be on a roll. How? Well, every now and then new test bikes are spotted in broad daylight. The latest is the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 test mule with a race fairing. Yes, you read it right. A race fairing as seen on its GT-R 650 race bike sibling is being tested on the production model. Additionally, it is likely to debut soon in the coming weeks in India. There are also some mechanical tweaks to the bike.

RE Continental GT 650 Race Fairing Details

Meanwhile, there is only a single spy shot of it; the bike already looks production-ready. However, it is the amazing retro cafe racer fairing that is attracting the most. The same race fairing is also offered by some custom bike fabricators. Additionally, there is a high possibility that the company might have undertaken assistance in developing this fairing. Nevertheless, whoever designed it made sure it turns out to be a head-turner.

Meaning, this new race fairing test bike has got a lot of inspiration from its race track cousin. However, unlike the race bike, the engine of it is likely to remain the same. Well, who is complaining then? Because the 648cc, parallel-twin, oil-cooled engine is the highlight of this bike. It makes a peak power of 47 bhp and a peak torque of 52 Nm. Additionally, the use of 6-speed transmission helps increase the quick performance of this engine.

Additionally, the company is already working on expanding its portfolio of the 650 range. The Royal Enfield Super Meteor and the Shotgun 650 are also near production-ready. Their test mules are also running every day on the outskirts of Chennai in a completely undisguised form.
