Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is an upcoming roadster bike that aims to expand the newly introduced 450 platform. Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: What To Expect?
The newly surfaced clear spy shots showcase the bike parked beside a road in Chennai. The test bike seen here looks production-ready. With a roadster design, the highlights like a round headlight, round mirrors, and a single-pod instrument cluster; give a neo-roadster bike appeal. The riding stance is commanding but not very aggressive. The upright handlebar is supported via a sculpted fuel tank, a single seat, and slightly rear-set footpegs for the rider.
The Guerrilla will be based on the Sherpa 450 platform which was introduced with the new Himalayan previous year. This single-cylinder, 452cc, liquid-cooled engine will be re-tuned and re-mapped as per the weight and dimensional changes on the Guerrilla. Also, the 6-speed transmission is likely to be revised for better low-end performance within the city.
The spy shots also showcase the moderate hardware on the bike. Unlike the Himalayan, the Guerrilla test bike has modest equipment like telescopic front suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels, single-seat, etc. Moreover, the instrument console is also likely to be similar to the Hunter 350; but with a different layout and more info on display.
The cheaper hardware means that it can be priced aggressively when launched. Our speculation is that it'll be introduced at EICMA'24 later this year. Upon its launch, the pricing can revolve around Rs 2.5 lakh. Also, it'll rival the Triumph Speed 400 and the KTM 390 Duke.

There are online reports that indicate an 8 product portfolio of the Sherpa 450 platform. This expansion is likely to take place within next 2 years. Hence, the idea of launching a roadster bike seems perfect as per the market needs. Royal Enfield's new 450cc engine has already been appreciated globally by now.
