Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Spotted Testing With Touring Accessories

Royal Enfield has quite a few products in its line-up inching closer to its launch date. One of them being the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. It has been caught testing multiple times already, and this time it is the touring accessories that catch our attention. Also, some more bikes are under development as well.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 With Accessories

The bike has been seen on several occasions, revealing its robust Adventure (ADV) style. Notably, it boasts a trellis frame, a departure from Royal Enfield's usual designs, and it is driven by a 450cc liquid-cooled engine  another first for the experienced motorcycle manufacturer. It is expected to produce power and torque figures similar to its primary competitor, the KTM 390 Adventure, which delivers 43.5PS and 37Nm. However, the engine will not be as aggressively tuned as the one found in the KTM adventure bike.

Apart from the usual sightings, this time the hard top box along with rigid hard panniers makes their appearance. The appearance exudes a proper adventure stance and the accessories look durable for longer rides.

The Himalayan 450 is inching fast toward its launch as the training of mechanics has already begun according to our dealer sources. Also, there is going to be a separate space for this bike at the workshops as well. Another detail that we got from earlier spy shots is the presence of a TFT console and also cruise control system.

More Royal Enfield Bikes Upcoming

There are quite a few RE bikes waiting for a launch in the next year. A Bobber 650, Shotgun, Roadster, and a few more. These are the ones that have been papped on more than one occasion. More 650cc units are under testing to sit alongside the Super Meteor 650. Also, after the launch of the Harley-Davidson X440 and Triumph Speed 400, the Royal Enfield is starting to feel a little heat on its home turf.
