Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and Himalayan Get Costlier - Full Info

New Delhi: Royal Enfield announced a hike in prices of its two known motorcycles - Meteor 350 and Himalayan. The price hike ranges between Rs 5000 to Rs 7000 respectively. The changes in the prices are only for these above-mentioned two motorcycles. 

The hike in the prices of both the motorcycles have now gone up by Rs 7,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively. The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Fireball, Stellar and Supernova variants now cost Rs 1.99 lakh, Rs 2.05 lakh and Rs 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.

On the other hand, the 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan now starts at Rs 2.10 lakh for the Mirage Silver and Granite Grey color variants and goes up to Rs 2.18 lakh for the Granite Black and Pine Green color models. 

The Himalayans Rock Red and Lake Blue variants are priced at Rs 2.14 lakh. One must note that aforementioned prices are ex-showroom prices and not on-road prices. Comparing the prices of the ADVs, the KTM 250 Adventure costs Rs 2.54 lakh, the Himalayan (top-end variant) is still Rs 36,000 more affordable. 

Royal Enfield is on the verge of growth and has just launched the reborned Classic 350, available with a new platform, engine and improved styling. The all-new Classic is available with five variants  Redditch, Halcyon, Signals, Dark and Chrome  priced at Rs 1.84 lakh, Rs 1.93 lakh, Rs 2.04 lakh, Rs 2.11 lakh and Rs 2.15 lakh respectively (ex-showroom). 

The Classic 350 Redditch and Halcyon variants are around Rs 15,000 and Rs 6,000 more affordable than the RE Meteor 350. The top-end variants of the new Classic 350 and Meteor 350 are available at the same prices now of Rs 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom).

Royal Enfield is ready to launch a handful of new models designed and engineered for Indian riders which will be launched in the upcoming years. The upcoming models might include a new 350cc commuter (Hunter), a road-focused version of Himalayan (Himalayan GT) and one more 650cc cruiser motorcycle. 

Thus, with the hike in prices of its motorcycles, RE is not getting away from the sales chart. The new generation models are futuristic and youth oriented which has helped RE in the increase of sales as compared to  previous times.
