The Tata Ace Gold Diesel comes with a 2-cylinder 700CC engine. The powertrain of this vehicle is a naturally aspirated direct-injection system that churns out 19hp of power at 45 Nm of torque. These figures seem to be not only good on papers but in reality too.

The Mahindra Jeeto Plus Diesel comes with a single-cylinder 670CC engine that has a direct-injection water-cooled system. The engine churns out 16hp and produces 42Nm of torque.

The Ace Gold Diesel and the Jeeto Plus comes equipped with a 4-speed transmission, However, the gear shifts are slick on the Tata Ace gold diesel and need lower maintenance when compared to the Jeeto plus.

The new revamped Tata Ace Gold gets a load-carrying capacity of 750Kg which is indeed impressive and the best in this segment. The Mahindra Jeeto Plus gets only 715Kg of Payload which is quite good.

VERDICT: After careful analysis, we have come to the judgement that the Tata Ace Gold Diesel has a more robust and durable suspension setup which is easy to fix when compared with the Mahindra Jeeto which has a softer setup that makes rides comfortable, however, it is a bit costly to fix when maintenance charges are considered.

The Cargo area is quite similar with minor differences hence, we have a tie and no winner in this category. The wheelbase is also quite similar, However, the Mahindra Jeeto has a better turning radius so it gains a point.

Price:

The Tata Ace Gold Diesel starts from Rs. 4.36 lakh whereas the Mahindra Jeeto plus Is priced at Rs 3.73 lakh. Although the Tata Ace Gold is priced higher than the Mahindra Jeeto Plus, the maintenance cost per year is lesser than the Jeeto.

The Tata Ace Gold diesel has been reliable from the day it initially rolled out of the showroom. Considering the prolonged user reviews, the Tata Ace Gold has never let down any customer in business. The spare parts are cheaper and easily available and it has a lower maintenance cost. The service network is also bigger than Mahindra. The initial experience buying the Tata Ace Gold is also good and the service that Tata provides is reliable. Not that, the Mahindra Jeeto is bad but it could have been better in terms of features and performance.
