Tata Punch is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol motor. This engine churns out 86 bhp of power with a peak torque of 113 Nm. A 5-speed manual transmission is mated as standard along with an optional AMT unit. The ARAI certified mileage of Punch sticks to 18.97 kmpl for the stick shift and 18.82 kmpl for the AMT.

Feature-wise, Punch gets a larger touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, multi-function steering wheel with tilt adjustment, cruise control, push-button start/stop, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED taillights and more.

Safety equipment on the Punch includes dual airbags, ABS with EBD, a high-speed alert system, rear parking sensors, front seat belt reminder, puncture repair kit, speed sensing door lock and more. The AMT versions of the Punch also get Traction Pro mode.
