Bajaj 125cc Bike - What Is It?

As visible in the spy shots, Bajaj is developing a new 125cc motorcycle that looks like a sporty version of an adventure bike. The test bike spotted in the photos is based on a sporty riding stance. The tubular handlebar is upright set while the rider footpegs are set towards the rear. The sculpted and large fuel tank is supported with big tank shrouds. Additionally, the single seat looks commuter-worthy for two adults.

The current 125cc portfolio of Bajaj has Pulsar 125 and the upcoming Pulsar N125. The Pulsar 125 is mainly targeted at tier-3 markets, whilst the N125 is sought by young buyers. Hence, there is space for another 125cc bike which could be positioned as a premium offering. This model could be it because it is equipped with premium equipment like USD forks, LED lights, a front disc brake, alloy wheels, and a digital instrument console.

Bajaj is likely to share the Pulsar N125 platform for developing this new model. With its radical design, it could possibly become a sporty adventure tourer bike. However, we can not assume more as the test bike is completely covered. Adding to assumptions, the powertrain in use is likely to be the 125cc engine sourced by Pulsar N125.
