Updated Yezdi Scrambler Spied: Whats New?

The most striking change with the updated Yezdi Scrambler is a new bronze-finished, angular engine casing, replacing the older black boxy design. Beneath that cover, the Scrambler is expected to adopt the 334cc Alpha 2 engine already seen in the Jawa 350, Yezdi Adventure, and Roadster MK2. However, sources suggest this could be the most aggressive state of tune yet, with revised sprockets and the potential for higher output than the current 29hp/29Nm setup. A key focus for the 2025 update is weight loss. Classic Legends is reportedly targeting a 15-20kg reduction from the current 192kg kerb weight. Part of this will come from switching to a single-exhaust setup like the Yezdi Adventure, along with a lighter engine assembly.

The spy shots also reveal revised pillion footpeg brackets, now mounted directly to the main frame, and a new split grabrail replacing the earlier single-piece unit. Side panels have been reshaped, giving the bike a slightly cleaner look. One of the biggest criticisms of the current Scrambler has been its harsh rear suspension. The 2025 model is expected to get revised suspension tuning, and there's speculation that it might even switch to a monoshock setup if it adopts the Yezdi Adventure's frame. This change, combined with weight savings, could significantly improve comfort and agility both on-road and off-road.

What's Unchanged?
While the overall silhouette stays true to the Scrambler DNA, the bike still features telescopic front forks, disc brakes at both ends, and the signature upright stance. The single-pod instrument cluster and spoked wheels are also carried forward, retaining its rugged, retro-inspired character.

The updated Scrambler is likely to launch around October 2025 with pricing close to the current Rs. 2.10- Rs 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) range. Once on sale, it will continue to compete against the Honda CB350RS and Royal Enfield Scram 440 in the modern-retro scrambler segment.
Verdict
With its lighter build, potential engine upgrades, and improved suspension, the 2025 Yezdi Scrambler could be the most dynamic and rider-focused 334cc Yezdi yet. If Classic Legends delivers on the weight-reduction goals while keeping pricing competitive, the updated Scrambler might just transform from a stylish retro-scrambler into one of the most fun-to-ride bikes in its class. Also, the category is now having some serious contenders and the brand has to deliver its top game to stay in focus.
