Volkswagen Polo Comfortline AT Launched At A Price Of Rs 8.51 Lakh

Been in the market for a decade now, Volkswagen Polo still attracts the set of enthusiasts in the country and has managed to hold to the title of being the most fun car to drive. Just recently Volkswagen brought in the peppy 1.0L TSI motor in the Comfortline variant with a 6-speed manual and now its AT version is launched at a stickering price of Rs 8.51 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.

Volkswagen Polo Comfortline AT price is Rs 1.05 lakh more than the 6-speed manual version but still, it remains the most affordable fully automatic turbo petrol car in the country. Under the hood, the Polo Comfortline AT packs in a 1.0L turbocharged stratified injection motor.

This motor churns out 109 bhp at 5000 RPM with a peak torque of 175 Nm at 1750 RPM. It is mated to a 6-speed torque converter and offers an official ARAI mileage of 16.47 kmpl. This small petrol engine is not only performance-oriented but also packs in an efficient factor. So it gives you the best of both worlds.

On the safety front, Volkswagen Polo has scored 4-stars in the Global NCAP in which the hatchback gained 12.54/17 points in the adult occupancy while the child occupancy was rated at 29.91/49 points. It carries dual airbags at the front, ABS with EBD, front seatbelt warning, speed-sensing door lock, rear parking sensors and others.

Feature-wise, the Volkswagen Polo Comfortline AT continues with a rake and reach steering wheel, manual AC, electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear defogger and wiper, 2-Din audio system with Bluetooth, Aux-in and four-speaker.
