Yamaha FZ-X Modified as a Hard-Core Off-Roader - Check Out The Render Images

Yamaha Motor India recently launched the all-new Yamaha FZ-X retro bike in the country. The new Yamaha FZ-X is a retro-styled motorcycle based on the FZ-S and it takes its design inspiration from the Yamaha XSR series that is sold abroad. Now, prior to its official launch, we all were hoping that the FZ-X will be a dual-purpose motorcycle, however, in reality, it isn't the case. So, here we have a digitally modified hard-core version of the Yamaha FZ-X.

Yamaha FZ-X Modified

As you can see in the image above, this digitally modified hard-core off-road version of the all-new Yamaha FZ-X looks ready to go on an adventure. The rendered version of the motorcycle gets a lot of additional components. For instance, it features a new tall windscreen with knuckle guards, a belly pan to protect the engine, a high-raised secondary mudguard and new grab rails at the rear. It even gets a customised exhaust. However, the biggest change is its tyres. This rendered bike off-roader gets knobbed-tyres with steel rims.

The Yamaha FZ-X is powered by a BS6 compliant 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This BS6 motor churns out 12.4 PS of maximum power at 7250 RPM and 13.6 Nm of peak torque at 5500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. For braking duties, the new Yamaha FZ-X gets disc brakes at either end with a single-channel ABS as an additional safety aid.
