Yamaha MT-15 2.0 & FZ Bike Range Prices Hiked Up To Rs 1,500

Yamaha MT-15 2.0 & FZ bike range price has been hiked in August up to Rs 1,500. The price hike happened just after the launch of MotoGP livery.

Yamaha MT-15 2.0 and the Yamaha FZ bike range prices have been hiked up to Rs 1,500. The price hike came into effect just a few days after the MotoGP livery launch. The new prices are applicable pan India to the sticker price tag.

Price Hike Details

The new price hike stands at Rs 1,500 for both the models. The MT-15 now starts from Rs 1,63,400 ex-showroom after the hiked price. Similarly, the Yamaha FZ 25 starts from Rs 1,51,400 ex-showroom now. The FZ X now has a starting price of Rs 1,32,900. Mimicking the bigger siblings, the Yamaha FZ-S now start from Rs 1,21,400 ex-showroom Delhi.

The most probable reasons behind the price hike are increased input costs. Additionally, the higher taxation policies are pushing manufacturers to consistently increase pricing. Following the trail of cost-benefit ratio, Yamaha has decided to increase the pricing for all of its product line in India. The new prices are out now from the month of August. Yamah R15 V4 also got a price hike of Rs 1,500 thus making it more costly than ever before.

Speaking of the MT-15, it is still one of the best alternatives among its segment. Despite of the increased price, the MT is still Rs 14,641 cheaper than its direct rival KTM Duke 125. Additionally, the FZ 25 is Rs 30,000 cheaper than the Suzuki Gixxer 250 too.

Yamaha fans in India now also have an option to buy their favorite bike in MotoGP livery. Yamaha's iconic paint scheme is now available on its product range in India. The new MotoGP livery costs additional money which is minimal in amount. Customers can avail their favorite model in this livery via any Yamaha showroom pan India.
