Electric SunroofFinally, an electric sunroof has been added to the Dzire, which, when open, makes the interior feel more lively than ever. Available only in the top-spec ZXi+ variant, this feature was long awaited.

The all-new Dzire is high on safety, with 6 airbags as standard across all models. This is a significant upgrade, as the previous Dzire offered only 2 airbags. In addition, ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, and reverse parking sensors are all standard safety features.
- 9 Inch SmartPlay Pro + Infotainment touchscreen
The new Dzire gets a bigger 9 Inch infotainment touchscreen with what Maruti calls Smartplay pro+ and it step up in size from the previously available 7 Inch screen. Reverse parking camera, wireless Android auto and Apple carplay, and over the air updates (OTA) is available here.

- The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire comes with an all-new design that makes it look completely different from the Swift and gives it a distinctive personality. At front, it gets a new fascia with a new horizontal slat grille painted in matte black colour and gets a chrome strip. The headlamp assembly is now sleeker than before and it gets new crystalline LED headlamps with a new horizontal LED DRL. The bumper now gets a new and aggressive design, the brand has also added new LED fog lamps in the bumper.
- On the sides, it gets more sharp lines as compared to the previous generation. It now gets a new dual-tone diamond-cut design for the 15-inch alloy wheels. Moreover, the brand has given a more sloping roof line to the rear of the car.
- At the rear, it gets a new 3D trinity LED taillamp setup, a new boot lid with integrated boot lip spoiler and a new bumper which boasts an aggressive styling similar to the front.

- The 4th-gen Dzire has seen some significant updates on the inside as well. The interior layout is similar to the 4th-gen Swift but the colour theme inside the cabin is different. The Dzire gets Beige and Black dashboard theme with some wodden treatment running across the dashboard. The steering continues to be the three-spoke flat bottom wheel with silver accents. Moreover, it continues to get beige coloured fabric upholstery.
- On the features front, the new Dzire gets a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a segment first electric sunroof, segment first 360-degree camera, wireless charging, automatic climate control, analogue instrument console with a MID, multiple charging ports, steering mounted controls, 40+ Suzuki Connect telematics features, electrically foldable and adjustable ORVMs, rear AC vents among other features.
- The new Dzire has become the first Maruti vehicle to receive 5-star in any crash test. Maruti has voluntarily sent the Dzire for the GNCAP crash test and the Dzire came out with 5 Star rating in adult safety and 4 star in child safety. The Dzire is based on the same Heartect platform as the new Swift and other Maruti vehicles. This new platform boasts high tensile steel for better strength.
- On the safety features front, the brand has offered 6-airbags, ISOFIX child seat mount, all-5 3-point seat belt, ESP, hill hold assist, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, rear defogger as standard across all trims. Moreover, the upper trims gets 360 degree camera, TPMS, a day/night IRVM, anti-theft security system among other features.

- Maruti Suzuki India has equipped the new Dzire with a new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z series petrol engine. This engine produces 82 PS of power and 111.7 Nm of peak torque. For the transmission options customers can choose from a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
- The Z series engine is one of the most fuel efficient petrol engine avaialble. This engine returns a claimed mileage of 24.79 km/l with the manual transmission and 25.71 km/l with the AMT gearbox.
- Additionally, the Dzire also comes with a 1.2-litre CNG powertrain which produces 69.75 PS of power and 101.8 Nm of peak torque. This engine returns a claimed efficiency of 33.73 km/kg and comes mated to a single 5-speed manual transmission option.
