All New 2025 Maruti Dzire Tour S - Detailed Walkaround

The Maruti Dzire Tour S, the commercial vehicle version of India's highest-selling sedan, was launched yesterday at a starting price of Rs 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom). 2025 Maruti Dzire Tour S - Exterior

In 2024, when Maruti Suzuki launched the 4th generation of Dzire, they specifically mentioned that the new Dzire wouldn't join the Maruti Suzuki Commercial cars lineup, but now they have launched it, and this is the detailed walkaround of it. To put it simply, the Tour S is simply a Dzire LXi variant - with different badging. Plus, it is available with two powertrain options - a 1.2L Z-Series petrol engine and a CNG kit. Now, the one we are covering is the CNG version, which costs an ex-showroom Rs 7.74 lakh, and remains the more popular choice in the taxi fleet because of its 33.73 km/kg of claimed fuel efficiency.

To begin with its exterior, the front end gets smoked projector based headlights, with halogen turn indicators, and overall its looks pretty cool. Now, the grille is all covered in plastic, and there in no fog lamps on offer, plus all the areas where chrome is available in higher variants of Dzire, here in Tour S, is replaced by black plastic, which to some extent looks sporty, but that is not intended to. Talking about its side profile, the side. mirrors, handle bars all finished in black, and the wheels have no alloys, nor even a wheel cover, plain steel wheels, with tyre section 165/80/R14.

Lastly, in the rear section, things get really interesting, as this taxi vehicle also has 4 parking sensors on offer. Plus, there is a lip spoiler, and the rear glass gets defoggers, which is great in terms of features in this CNG trim. To add more, the rear tail-lights are all LED. Now, to fill up gas, the nozzle is located in the same place as the fuel lid, at the left rear quarter of the car, which is again great, as the nozzle is placed inside, protected from the outside environment.

Now, the interior feels great as per the asking price, as all four doors get power windows. Plus, the rear seats are in a 60/40 split, and also get a rear armrest, and even the AC controls are fully automatic, which is fantastic. Talking about the MID, it's semi-digital as the dials for RPM and speedometer are there, but in the center lies the digital screen, which provides essential details like fuel economy, range, trip distance, and more.

Now, the good news for all the people who extensively use Uber and Ola is that this Tour-S model is equipped with 6 airbags, ABS, and EBD. Plus, it has also received 5 stars in Global NCAP. So, this is a certified safe vehicle to travel in. Earlier, Maruti used to get this massive backlash from people that their cars aren't safe, and mock them by calling their cars a plastic box.

Lastly, the CNG cylinder placed in the boot space is 11 kg, but its positioning is done very well, so there is space to keep one big trolley bag and two small backpacks, which makes it a good choice for small journeys. To end with a little specification, the Tour-S makes 69.75 ps and 101.8 Nm of torque, and is mated to 5-speed manual gearbox.
