Variant Recommendation
The base E variant lacks most features and is not a worthwhile purchase but, the S variant despite being budget-friendly, it includes a decent number of features. These makes it up for the shortcomings of the base variant. When it comes to the S(O) variant , it has a higher price tag and is not strongly recommended. If budget is not a constrain opting for the SX variant is a better choice, providing some extra features. But SX(O) variant is one of the best value-for-money option as It offers many features and extra safety enhancements.
Pros & Cons of Hyundai Venue
Should I buy the Venue?
The Hyundai Venue presents itself as a viable option for buyers seeking a feature-loaded SUV with a range of engine choices. Whether you prefer a diesel engine or a turbo petrol option, the Venue caters to diverse preferences. However, if prioritizing a higher safety rating is crucial, the Tata Nexon could be a consideration as it offers additional features.
- The Hyundai Venue boasts a larger and bolder grille. It serves as the focal point and aligns with the design theme seen in various international Hyundai models. The DRLs (daytime running lights) and indicators have been refined. The 2022 model loses fog lamps because of the innovative bumper design.
- On the sides, attention is drawn to the new 16-inch alloy wheels, excluding a sportier appearance than ever before.
- The rear showcases a fresh bumper design and tweaked taillights. Additionally, the 2022 Venue features a 'connected' rear taillight glass. It creates a striking effect at night.
- The Venue presents a choice of three engine options: a 1.2-liter NA petrol engine, a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine.
- The NA petrol engine delivers 82 bhp of power and 113.8 Nm of peak torque, coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission. This 4-cylinder engine ensures commendable refinement.
- The car comes with a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine. It offers 118 bhp of power and 172 Nm of peak torque. You can get it with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. This gives a fun driving experience.
- The third engine option is a 1.5-liter diesel engine, generating 114 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. This engine exclusively pairs with a 6-speed manual transmission. It's an ideal choice for those with extensive driving needs.
- Hyundai is a brand with a strong focus on vehicle safety. The Venue ensures that it is equipped with a comprehensive set of safety features. The car has 6 airbags, hill assist control, and ABS with EBD. It also has ISOFIX seat mounts, rear parking sensors, and 5 ELR seat belts. It also includes other features. Upper variants also have added features, like a reverse camera and Brake Assist. They also include a rear defogger, day-night IRVM, and more.
- The Venue has a standout safety feature. It's the only SUV in its segment with Level 1 ADAS. The ADAS features encompass: - FCW - LKA - LDW - Driver Attention Warning (DAW) - Lane Following Assist (LFA) - High Beam Assist (HBA) - Leading Vehicle Departure Alert (LVDA)
- The Venue stands out as one of the most feature-loaded SUVs. It has an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It also has Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a fully digital instrumentation cluster. Hyundai has introduced new features. These include a powered driver's seat, drive modes, and support for up to 10 languages.
- The reclining seat feature enhances the practicality in the rear. The overall space and design maintain a fresh, modern feel. They remain consistent with the previous iteration.
- The Venue offers amenities to elevate comfort. These include an air purifier, automatic climate control, and an electric sunroof. Within its price segment, the quality of materials is commendable.
- The ride quality at low speeds is smooth and sophisticated. It effectively absorbs small bumps. But, the ride exhibits a firmness. This becomes clear on rough roads and larger potholes.
- The Venue maintains stability during fast corners, with controlled body roll. Despite some roll, the car feels well-balanced. It feels well-balanced even when navigating through twists and turns. The dynamics are predictable. They offer a clean and stable performance without any unexpected surprises. The Venue strikes a good balance between ride quality and handling. It performs effectively but doesn't claim the top spot in either aspect.

- ASAyush Srivastava26 Apr 20244.6I have owned a Venue 1.2 S petrol since December 2019, which I use for local travel as well as for long routes. I am getting 15–16 km/h in the city and 19–21 km/h on highways, with speeds between 80 and 95 kmph. I get maintenance for around 9k–10k per year with synthetic engine oil (which costs nearly 2.5 times as much as mineral oil). Ride quality and handling are very good. The best thing is built quality; even the bumpers are heavy. Overall value for money.Read moreLikes (4)

Hyundai is not using the good material now in the body shape of cars. But the cost is very high as compared with the Honda Elevate.Read moreLikes (28)
