Honda Cars India was about to unveil the 2020 City but due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and the current lockdown, Honda delayed the media drive and the official launch event. In fresh news, 2020 Honda City brochure has been leaked and it comes with a ton of features that can shun away the competition. Let's see what the all-new 2020 Honda City has to offer!

The exterior is completely changed now and the same is the case with the interiors. The front now gets full LED headlights with integrated DRLs and turn indicators and a large chrome grille up front with LED foglights placed on the bumper down below. The side profile is longer than before thanks to the increased length and it might get 16-inch diamond-cut alloys in top variants. The rear gets a new bumper and 3D wraparound LED taillights. The brochure also suggests that 2020 Honda City will be the longest and widest car in its segment leaving Hyundai Verna and Toyota Yaris behind.
Moving into the interiors, they have been completely changed. The black and beige dashboard gets soft-touch materials to give it more upmarket feel and the 8.0-inch touchscreen sits in the middle of AC vents. The 8.0-inch touchscreen comes with a host of features like Android Auto, Apple Car Play, built-in Alexa remote, Honda Connect app support etc. However, Honda has replaced the AC control touch panel with regular rotary knobs in the new generation of the City.
Interestingly, it borrows the lane watch camera from its elder sister- Honda Civic. The lane watch camera is mounted on the passenger side ORVM and it projects the wide-angle view of the left side on the 8.0-inch central screen every time you put the left indicator on or click the lane watch preview.

As we said before, 2020 Honda City will be loaded to the brim with features like ABS, EBD, lane watch camera, rear parking sensors, G-meter, 6-airbags, ISOFIX child anchor points, hill-start assist, leather seats, reverse parking camera, low tyre-pressure warning, traction control, electronic stability program and many more features which will be revealed at the launch.
Engine options will include the same 1.5-litre petrol i-vtec and 1.5-litre i-dtec diesel engines churning out 118 hp and 100 ps respectively. For the first time, Honda City will also get diesel automatic which will be a CVT. The petrol engine which is already available with a CVT will be continued here also. Honda City has always been a premium offering in the segment and the same will be continued this time also. The pricing will be a shed over 10 lakhs for the base variant and the top trims will touch 15 lakh mark. 2020 Honda City might get launched after the lockdown lifts off.
