The Kawasaki Ninja 300 has always been a very popular motorcycle in the Indian market. Its popularity can be mostly attributed to its price tag as the BS4 Ninja 300 was the most affordable Kawasaki motorcycle to be sold in the Indian market. The company has not yet launched its BS6 iteration but Kawasaki fanboys, it's now time to rejoice as it is finally coming back! The new 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 300 will be now launched in India very soon.

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 was first launched in India in the year 2017 at Rs. 3.64 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. The 2017 Ninja 300 was obnoxiously priced in the country back then. That's because it was directly imported to India via the CBU (completely built unit) route. Then, around two years later, in January 2019, Kawasaki launched the new Ninja 300 ABS in India at Rs. 2.99 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 300 ABS got a major price cut. That's because it was brought to India via the CKD (completely knocked down) route and was assembled in our country.

Now, the most affordable Kawasaki is finally coming back and as per some earlier reports, it might be priced even lower this time, fingers crossed. Well keeping the price aside, if we talk about the changes, so the new Ninja 300 will be getting significant mechanical changes and some cosmetic updates. The motorcycle might get new colour schemes. Earlier, it was available in four colour options. They were Lime Green, Ebony with Metallic Moon Dust Grey, Candy Plasma Blue, and Lime Green with Ebony. The Ninja 300 won't get any new features. It will continue to sport the same semi-digital semi-analogue instrument cluster.

The 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 300 will be powered by a BS6 compliant 296cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. The BS4 motor used to churn out 39 PS of power at 11,000 RPM and 27 Nm of peak torque at 10,000 RPM. The BS6 motor is expected to produce almost similar power and torque figures. The engine will come mated to a six-speed manual gearbox and it will get an assist and slipper clutch too. What are your thoughts on the upcoming Kawasaki Ninja 300 BS6?
