2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk Facelift Likely To Launch In March

Jeep's entry-level Compass SUV received a facelift in India in January 2021. The Jeep Compass's first facelift was extremely spectacular. Since the release of the Compass facelift, fans have been anticipating the release of the more rugged Jeep Compass Trailhawk facelift. However, it appears that we will have to wait a bit longer, since the 2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk launch has been moved back to March 2022, according to multiple reports. Earlier, the American company was believed to be preparing to unveil the 2022 Compass Trailhawk in February.

The cause of the delay is unknown, but we can anticipate it to be related to the auto industry's struggles with semi-conductor shortages. The Trailhawk version of the Compass is based on the top-spec edition of the standard Compass, but with a few extra features. The Trailhawk SUV has larger all-terrain tyres, body cladding, and trail-rated 4x4 badging to emphasize its off-road capabilities.

If we talk about the powerhouse of the upcoming 2022 Compass Trailhawk is expected to be a 2-litre diesel unit that will produce 170PS of power and 350 Nm of peak torque. The engine will be paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission along with 4x4 capability. A 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine is also available for the standard Compass, as well as manual transmission options for both engines.

The 2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk is also expected to come with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver's display, 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats and linked car technology as a fully loaded option. The main highlights of the upcoming SUV will be its capability to handle rugged terrains with its improved traction, ground clearance, articulation, maneuverability, and water-crossing ability.

The 2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk is expected to cost nearly about Rs 30 lakhs. The standard version of Jeep Compass facelift is available at a starting price of Rs 17.79 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
