2022 Maruti Alto K10 Launched At Rs 3.99 Lakh; Available In 4 Variants

Maruti has launched the 2022 Alto K10 at a price of Rs 3.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. To keep things interesting, the carmaker has decided to bring only four variants to the list - Std, Lxi, Vxi and Vxi Plus. The latter two are available with AGS transmission too but as an option.

Under the hood, the Alto K10 is powered by a 1.0-litre, naturally aspirated three-pot motor. This is the same unit as seen in the Maruti Celerio as well as S-Presso. It generates 66 bhp of power with a peak torque of 89 Nm. This motor is mated to a five-speed manual transmission as standard and gets AGS as an option.

The ARAI-certified fuel economy of the Alto K10 sticks to 24.90 kmpl for the AGS and 24.39 kmpl for the MT. The new Alto K10 now measures 3,530 mm in length, 1,490 mm in width and 1,520 mm in height. The ground clearance of the hatchback is still unknown.

Feature-wise, the Alto K10 gets a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, steering mounted audio and voice controls, a digital instrument cluster, first in the segment four speakers, front power windows, central locking and more.

Safety equipment on the Alto K10 includes dual airbags at the front, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, pre-tensioner and force limiter front seat belts, reverse parking sensors, speed sensing door locks, a high-speed alert system and more.
