2022 Maruti Baleno Launch On 23 February - Specs, Features, Price

The new 2022 Maruti Baleno is all set to make its Indian debut on 23rd February 2022 and will replace the present iteration of the Baleno in the brand's portfolio. The new Baleno will not only boast a new exterior design but in addition to this, will now also feature an updated cabin and a longer features list. Here are all the details like the 2022 Maruti Baleno launch date, specs, features, and other updates that you should know.

For starters, the new Baleno will be offered with an updated design that will be largely dominated by new LED headlights and a new and more prominent grille at the front. In addition to this, the new Baleno will also get new bumpers and a new taillight design that will give it a fresh identity. Having said this, the car will continue to take on the rivals like the Tata Altroz, Hyundai i20 and the VW Polo. Other noticeable features include a chrome door handle, passive entry request sensor, dual-cut alloy wheels, LED DRLs, etc.

Inside, the new Baleno will feature a new infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, push-button start, steering mounted control, segment-first HUD, automatic climate control, digital instrument console, and many other features like 360-degree camera. On the safety front, the Baleno will be offered with a number of standard safety features like dual front airbags, ISOFIX mounts, ABS, EBD, ESP, seat-belt reminder, speed alert, etc.

Having said this, the Maruti Baleno will be offered with the same 1.2-L petrol engine with dualJet mild-hybrid tech. This engine will however offer is expected to be offered in a higher state of tune. While the Baleno will be offered with a 5-speed MT as standard, the buyers will also be able to opt for the optional 5-speed AMT unit that now replaced the older and more expensive CVT gearbox. No diesel engine will be offered with the Baleno.
