2022 MG ZS EV Excite Base Variant Walkaround - Here's What It Gets

The ZS EV's entry-level Excite model has recently been launched by MG Motor in India. MG has set the base model's pricing at Rs. 22.58 lakh (ex-showroom). The ZS EV is also available in several foreign countries, including Australia and New Zealand. The New Zealand and Australia spec MG ZS EV Excite variant's walkaround has recently appeared online. The model receives the same specifications and battery pack as the India-spec model.

MG ZS EV Excite Variant

The ZS EV in the video has a Pebble Black exterior colour. It has a closed front grille with a cutout for a charging socket, complete LED headlamps with an LED DRL bar, and a front bumper. A camera for 360-degree camera is positioned below the front MG logo. It has 17-inch wheels with hyper-style wheel caps on the sides. It gets lower bumper garnish and LED taillamps at the back. The tailgate's MG logo doubles as the handle for opening the tailgate. Its boot holds a massive 440 liters of space.

The ZS EV Excite variant's interior features fabric seat upholstery with red stitching. It features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a 7-inch digital instrument panel. The automatic climate control controls are also available in the infotainment screen. A rotary gear knob and other keys for mode changes and other functions are also added to the centre console. A push button for starting and stopping the car is located on the left side of the steering wheel. Under the steering wheel, on the right side of the wheel, is the switch for the ORVMs. The rear has a flat floor board for the rear passengers to, rear AC vents, and USB & Type C charging outlets for their convenience.

The safety net of the ZS EV Excite variant includes features like heated ORVMs, a 360-degree camera, an ESC, ABS with EBD, a tyre pressure monitoring system, hill descent control, hill start aid, and six airbags.

MG ZS EV Powertrain

A 50.3 kWh battery pack with a maximum output of 280 Nm and 174 bhp of power is available in the base Excite variant as well as in the top-end Exclusive trim. It has a 461 km (claimed) driving range and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.5 seconds.
