2023 Yamaha R15 V4 Gets A New Colour Palette - Read Details

One of the most reasonably priced sports bikes offered in India is the Yamaha R15 V4. It serves as the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer's flagship product in India. Yamaha continually updates their product line with new features, colours, and other improvements. In keeping with that theme, the company has upgraded the R15 V4 with a fresh colour scheme for 2023. In Indonesia, the brand has debuted the 2023 Yamaha R15 V4's Aggressive Grey colour.

Yamaha R15 V4 Aggressive Grey Colour

The motorcycle's new colour enhances its sporty charm. The Aggressive Grey colour covers the entire body panels and is complemented with neon-colored alloy wheels. Dual neon stripes are added to the front visor, and the front forks are painted grey rather than golden as they are in other colours. The neon colour is also applied to the fuel tank as stripes. Currently, this colour is only available in the Indonesian market and we expect that the brand may launch this colour in India as well.

At present, Yamaha R15 V4 is available in Metallic Red, Dark Knight, Racing Blue, special Monster Energy MotoGP Edition, WGP 60th Edition and Metallic Grey colours in India.

Yamaha R15 V4 Engine Specifications

A 155cc, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve engine with liquid cooling has been installed in the Yamaha R15. The peak power of 18.4 bhp and 14.2 Nm of maximum torque are generated by the engine. A 6-speed constant mesh transmission is connected to this engine.  The bike also has VVA(Variable Valve Actuation) technology, a quick shifter for clutchless upshifts, a traction control system, a slipper clutch for smooth gear changes, and other features.

The Yamaha R15 V4 is currently available for between Rs 1.80 lakh to Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 1.93 lakh (ex-showroom) for the R15M version. The R15 V4 is the most sought-after 150cc sports bike under Rs 2 lakh on the Indian market.

Verdict: The bike's new colour improves its attractiveness as a sports vehicle. Although Yamaha hasn't yet introduced the new colour to the Indian market, we believe the company will do so in the near future.
