2024 Mahindra Thar 5-Door: What To Expect?

Currently undergoing final testing, the extended-wheelbase variant featuring 5 doors is set to hit the market around mid-2024. The spy shots unveil some exciting details, starting with the all-new LED headlight cluster sporting projector units. What catches the eye right away are the snazzy LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and a revamped grille, giving this larger-than-life Thar a distinctive appearance.

When you take a glance at the side view, especially with the extra doors, you can't miss the extended design, giving it a noticeably longer appearance. The larger side steps not only add to the aesthetics but also make getting in and out easier. Moving to the back, you'll spot a handle mounted on the pillar of the rear door. While the rear profile remains largely unchanged, the addition of new LED tail lights adds a fresh touch. This upcoming model is set to compete with the Force Gurkha and Maruti Suzuki Jimny, positioning itself as a formidable contender in the market.
