2025 Bajaj Dominar 250 At Dealership- What Changes?

The 2025 Bajaj Dominar 250 has been updated with a few tweaks in the features department, where the engine and hardware components remain the same as before. It gets a tech-focused refresh, with the biggest upgrade being the new digital instrument console borrowed from the Pulsar NS200. This updated display brings modern features like smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and notifications for calls and texts. The bike now also comes with traction control, an especially useful safety net for new riders, and switchable ABS modes: Road, Rain, and Off-road.

The 2025 Bajaj Dominar 250 continues to offer a solid chassis setup with an inverted front fork and rear monoshock while running on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres at both ends, giving it a sporty stance. For braking, it uses a 300mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc, assisted by a dual-channel ABS system for improved safety and control while on the roads.

Powertrain Options

The Bajaj Dominar 250 continues with the same mechanical setup as before. It's powered by a 248.77cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC, 4 valve twin-spark FI engine that delivers 27PS of power and 23.5Nm of torque. No changes have been made to the engine or core hardware in this iteration.
The 2025 Bajaj Dominar 250 is priced at Rs 1,93,654 (ex-showroom) as per the sources, marking a hike of Rs 7,158 over the 2024 version, justified by the new tech additions like the updated console and rider aids. While it doesn't have a direct competitor in the 250cc touring segment, it competes in a similar price range with bikes like the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Royal Enfield Hunter 350, and others in the similar price range.
Verdict
The increased price sits well with the kind of upgrades the Dominar 250 gets in the 2025 iteration and specially when they are functional like the ones mentioned above. Bajaj has positioned itself as the go to brand for those who want performance, economy or the sheer value for money. While they have proved it with their Pulsar range, the focus also seems on be on the Dominar series, which although pretty solid, has failed to grab the anticipated traction that the brand would have liked.
