2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS125: What's New?

Bajaj Pulsar NS125 Single Channel ABS And Riding Modes

The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS125 introduces a significant upgrade in the form of three selectable ABS modes, Rain, Road, and Off-road, that allow the rider to fine-tune braking behaviour to suit different riding conditions. Since the model continues to use a single-channel ABS system, the braking intervention is applied only on the front wheel. In Rain mode, the system offers the highest level of ABS intervention for maximum safety on wet or slippery roads. Off-road mode dials the intervention down to the minimum, providing more control in loose or uneven terrain. Road mode, meanwhile, offers a balanced setting ideal for everyday city and highway riding. This update gives riders a much more versatile and confidence-inspiring braking setup than before.

NS200 digital console

Another major highlight is the inclusion of a fully digital instrument cluster, similar to the units offered on the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and Bajaj Pulsar NS200. This new console features turn-by-turn navigation and connected functions like call and SMS alerts. It also displays essential ride information such as fuel level, gear-position indicator, trip meter, and distance-to-empty readouts, significantly enhancing convenience for everyday commuting. This upgrade gives the NS125 a more premium feel, aligning it with Bajaj's larger-capacity Pulsar models.

New Colour Option: Pearl Metallic White

To complement the new feature set, Bajaj has also introduced a fresh colour scheme called Pearl Metallic White, which adds a modern and sporty touch to the motorcycle's overall styling. This shade enhances the sharp streetfighter design that the NS family is known for, giving buyers a more vibrant and eye-catching option.

Engine & Underpinnings- Stays The Same!

Mechanically, the bike remains unchanged and continues to be powered by a 124.45cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine delivering 12PS at 8,500rpm and 11Nm at 7,000rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. It rides on a perimeter frame supported by telescopic forks at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking performance comes from a 240mm front disc and a 130mm rear drum, paired with the updated ABS system. The Pulsar NS125 has a seat height of 805mm, a 12-litre fuel tank, 179mm of ground clearance, and a kerb weight of 144kg, making it well-suited for both daily rides and weekend spins.

The updated Pulsar NS125 continues to compete with the TVS Raider 125 and Hero Xtreme 125R in the sporty 125cc commuter space. What makes the update even more appealing is that Bajaj has managed to add these features at a marginal premium of just Rs. 667 over the outgoing model, keeping the pricing extremely competitive within its segment.

Verdict

The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS125 update adds technology and refinement without significantly increasing the price. The introduction of ABS modes enhances safety and control, while the new digital console and updated colour option bring it closer to the larger NS models in terms of appeal. By maintaining its sub-Rs. 1 lakh price point, Bajaj has ensured that the NS125 remains an accessible yet feature-rich motorcycle for riders who want sporty styling, daily practicality, and modern tech. This update gives the Pulsar NS125 a stronger foothold in its segment and makes it an even more appealing choice for urban riders.
