Exterior and New Colors
The 2026 Verna has continued to maintain its futuristic sportiness design language while adding more sophisticated touches. Some notable exterior updates are a black chrome grille which makes the front fascia more premium, dual LED projector headlamps for enhanced visibility with a modern aesthetic, and revised bumpers - making the front and rear styling provide the Verna a sportier stance - along with new 16-inch diamond-cut alloys.
Hyundai, with the update, has also given the customer two new color options: Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte. The sedan continues to lead the segment in dimensions, boasting the longest wheelbase (2,670 mm) and the widest body in its class.
Interior
The interior gets a massive tech and comfort update. The significant additions focus on seating and convenience. Now, the driver gets a feature of 8-way power adjustment with memory and welcome retract, while the passenger seat gets 4-way power adjustment. Hyundai has also improved the touch and feel of the sedan by placing a Bose 8-speaker sound system, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and a walk-in device for the passenger seat.
The dashboard is dominated by dual 10.25-inch screens (infotainment and digital cluster) along with switches to control the climate and audio. To ease the connectivity, the updated sedan offers over 70 Bluelink features and 350-plus voice commands.
Safety and Level 2 ADAS

Hyundai, with safety as a core focus, has offered over 75 safety features. The major safety highlight of the new Verna is the Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS, including 20 autonomous functions to assist the driver. The standard safety features are 7 airbags, integrated dashcam, surround view monitor, tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control, and hill start assist.
Engine and Performance
Hyundai continues to offer the Verna with two engine options. One is offered with a 1.5L MPi Petrol engine that delivers a smooth drive, paired with a 6-speed manual or IVT automatic. Another is offered with the 1.5L Turbo GDi Petrol which churns out 160 PS and 253 Nm. This engine is available with a 6-speed manual or a lightning-fast 7-speed DCT. Verna also has three drive modes (Eco, Normal, Sport) along with paddle shifters and Idle Stop & Go (ISG) technology for better fuel efficiency.
Variant-Wise Pricing (Ex-Showroom)
The 2026 Verna is available in six main trims: HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6+, HX8, and HX10. The base variant (HX2) starts at Rs. 10.98 Lakh and goes up to Rs. 18.25 Lakh, depending on the engine and transmission options.
