The Mahindra and Mahindra have recently revealed ahead of the official launch event scheduled for tomorrow. The Wrangler Killer now has a more aggressive front fascia which suits well on its tough character. However there is no change in terms of technology and mechanicals, the 5-Door Mahindra Thar gets some added features. Thar Roxx Exterior Design

The 5-door avatar of the Thar gets a similar front fascia as its 3-door sibling. It features the same boxy design language. Talking about some new additions, the Thar Roxx gets a body-coloured 6-slat grille and a new bumper with a silver treatment.

Jumping to the side profile, the automaker has placed the door handles on the C-pillar. Also, there is a panoramic sunroof on offer which was the most awaited feature for the lifestyle vehicle. In addition to this, there is a new set of dual-tone alloy wheels. However, it is expected that the Mahindra will offer a single-pane sunroof for lower variants.

Coming at the rear side, there are C-shaped taillights and the iconic spare wheels mounted on the tailgate.

Thar Roxx Features

The 5-Door Thar impresses with its long list of features. First of all, the practicality has significantly increased and now we get an ample amount of space inside the cabin. In terms of functionality, you get dual 10.25-inch displays- one as an infotainment system and the other as a digital driver's display, rear AC vents, a panoramic sunroof and automatic AC (but not dual zone).

Thar Roxx Interior and Comfort

The 5-door Thar is a great leap forward when it comes to comfort and space. First of all, you get a dual-tone colour scheme in the cabin with white colour seat upholstery and a black leather finish dashboard with copper stitching. The five-door Thar gets ISOFIX child anchorages at the rear seat, a foldable centre armrest, an adjustable headrest for all three passengers and 3-point seatbelts. There's also a decent size of boot space available with the Thar Roxx, but we are unaware of the cargo capacity yet.

5 Door Mahindra Thar Engine

Mechanically, the Thar Roxx retains the same setup on offer with its 3-door sibling. It gets the same 2.2-litre diesel engine and a 2.0-litre Turbo petrol unit. Each powertrain generates differing power figures.
