The exterior of the sedan in its Sport Edition features subtle changes that distinguish it from the regular variant. It includes a sporty black grille, all-black outer rearview mirrors (ORVM), a glossy black shark fin antenna, and a blacked-out rear spoiler. Additionally, it comes with grey alloy wheels that enhance its distinctive side profile, as well as a Sport badge at the rear.

The exterior features, such as LED headlamp with LED DRL, Z-shaped LED tail lamp, shark fin antenna, ORVM mounted turn signals, fog lamps, blind view camera, among others, remain the same.

The interior of the Sport Edition features an all-black design, accented with touches of red on the dashboard. The seats are made of all-black leatherette, complete with red stitching, while the steering wheel is also black leatherette with red stitching. The dashboard is entirely black, highlighted by a red garnish and rhythmic ambient lighting. Additionally, the area around the interior door handles follows the same color scheme. The features inside remain consistent with the V variant, including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, a 4.2-inch colored multi-information display (MID), and rear air conditioning vents, among other features.

Honda City Sport - Engine
The City Sport comes with the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, this engine produces 121 PS of power and 145 Nm of peak torque. For the Sport Edition, the brand is offering it with a sole 7-speed CVT gearbox option. This engine and transmission combination is claimed to achieve a mileage of 18.40 kmpl. Additionally, this engine is compliant with E20 petrol.
Verdict
The newly launched Honda City Sport is a limited-run edition with cosmetic updates over the regular version. The brand hasnt made any changes on the features or engine front, which could be a bummer for some potential buyers. That said, the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine remains a reliable unit and has been powering the City for a long time. The City continues to compete with the Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia, and Hyundai Verna, all of which come with turbo-petrol engine options.
