Ford EcoSport is the car that kickstarted the sub-4m compact SUV segment in India. The EcoSport is currently in its second-generation, and the manufacturer is working on the next-generation version of the vehicle. While the official launch of the all-new 2021 Ford EcoSport is still quite far away, a few images of the vehicle show how the car will look like in the future.
The all-new Ford EcoSport will make its debut in Brazil in 2021. Codenamed as BX755, the all-new version looks very different from the current model. The design changes will make the all-new Ford EcoSport utterly different from the current version, which is on sale around the world.
At the front, the hexagonal grille gives way to a new grille that has headlamps enclosed in it. The car also gets a new bumper with brand-new fog lamp housings. The shape of the vehicle has changed too, and it now offers a matured design with a sweeping window line.
Even the rear of the all-new 2021 Ford EcoSport looks very different from the current version. It gets a regular tailgate that has hinges on the top. The LED tail lamps are in an all-new shape, and they are split design with a black stripe connecting both of them. The rear bumper also gets a silver skid plate that adds a muscular look to the vehicle. Even the rear bumper is now new.
The current version of the Ford EcoSport is under 4 metres of length. However, it seems like the new EcoSport will be longer. There is no announcement to update the current version of the EcoSport in India and launch the all-new version. However, the manufacturer may launch a tweaked version of the all-new EcoSport in the Indian market after its global debut in Brazil. The Indian version is likely to be an entirely different version to keep the cost low.
The third-generation Ford EcoSport will get powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder engine that will produce a maximum of around 135 Bhp. The Indian market may get a different set of engines too. The all-new Ford EcoSport will become more expensive than the current version due to the major updates.
