Updated Royal Enfield Classic 350: What To Expect?

The Royal Enfield Classic 350, powered by the latest J platform engine, continues to reign supreme in the market despite facing competition from new contenders. However, it's no secret that this model could benefit from some important updates in terms of features and components. Its main rival, the Jawa 350, boasts a DOHC engine delivering about 2 bhp and 1 nm more torque than the Classic 350. It also features a 6-speed transmission, assist and slip (A&S) clutch, twin exhausts, and other enhancements. Despite these features, the prices of both models are competitive, depending on the variants.

Customers would appreciate seeing similar upgrades in the Classic 350. We anticipate that the updated Classic will come with significant improvements, along with some common ones. However, its style and essence will remain true to its original design. Additionally, this model competes with the Benelli Imperiale 400 and Honda CB350 H'ness. Any major updates introduced in the Classic will likely extend to other 350cc models in Royal Enfield's lineup, such as the Bullet 350, Hunter 350, and Meteor 350.

Royal Enfield Classic 650 Incoming - Multiple Models In The Pipeline

In addition to the new facelift, Royal Enfield is reportedly set to introduce a 650cc version of the Classic. This Classic 650 has been spotted several times during road tests. The test mule resembles the Classic 350 but with larger dimensions. It is expected to feature design tweaks, including a familiar 650cc engine, a semi-digital instrument console similar to the Super Meteor 650, dual exhaust, LED lighting, tubeless tyres, USD forks, alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity, and more.

Alongside this, Royal Enfield is also planning to launch four more models before the end of the current financial year. These include the Goa Classic 350, Scram 440, Guerrilla 450, and Interceptor Bear 650.

Royal Enfield Classic - Crafting Future Success with New Milestone Plans

Royal Enfield (RE) is aiming to achieve a significant milestone by surpassing the 1 million unit sales mark globally for the first time. Their target is to sell approximately 940,000 units domestically, while they're looking to boost international sales to between 75,000 and 90,000 units to drive growth. Reports also indicate that the company plans to invest between Rs 1,200 crore and Rs 1,400 crore in the current financial year as part of its business strategy for FY25.
