Bajaj Dominar is a very popular motorcycle series in the Indian market. The Dominar 400 was first launched in India in the year 2016. Over the years, it received several updates and to make the Dominar brand more affordable, Bajaj even launched the Dominar 250 in India last year. Upon its launch, the Dominar 250 was available in just two colour shades and earlier this year, it got a new colour variant. But now, Bajaj Auto will soon launch three more new colour shades for the Dominar 250. Here, we have its exclusive images.
The Dominar 250 BS6 is currently available in three colour variants. Just a few months ago, the company introduced the Aurora Green colour shade for the D250 that was earlier available only with the Dominar 400. So, it is currently on sale in Canyon Red, Charcoal Black and Aurora Green colour shades. But now, the company will introduce three new colour variants for this motorcycle. They will be Sparkling Black with Matt Silver, Racing Red with Matt Silver and Citrus Rush with Matt Silver. The Dominar 250 will get new graphics on the body panels too and even white-coloured alloy wheels.
Apart from the addition of these new colour variants, the Dominar 250 BS6 won't feature any other changes. It will still be powered by a BS6 compliant 248.8cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled DTS-i engine. This motor churns out 27 PS of power at 8500 RPM and 23.5 Nm of peak torque at 6500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. For suspension duties, it gets USD forks at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. The braking duties on the Dominar 250 BS6 are performed by disc brakes at either end and it even gets dual-channel ABS as an additional safety aid.
The Dominar 250 recently received a massive price cut of Rs 16,800 and this motorcycle is currently priced at Rs 1.54 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi and you can expect Bajaj to charge a slight premium over the current prices for the new colour variants. It rivals the likes of KTM Duke 250, Suzuki Gixxer 250, Yamaha FZ 25, etc. What are your thoughts on these new colour variants?
