Sharing details on the new Hi-Lander then it comes with a 1.9-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged BS6 compliant diesel engine. This unit delivers 161 bhp at 3600 RPM with a peak torque of 360 Nm at 2000 RPM. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and gets a 4x2 set-up.
Styling-wise, it gets steel wheels with caps, black ORVMs on the sides and the lack of chrome on the front. Priced at Rs 16.98 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi, it might seem a little bit on the expensive side because it lacks some of the convenience features.
Step inside the Hi-Lander and you are welcomed by an all-black cabin layout. The fabric upholstery is fine and you do get a manual air conditioning system with a four-speaker music system. The Hi-Lander does not get a touchscreen which is as basic as it can get nowadays.
