When launched, the new Skoda Octavia RS 245 was priced at Rs 35.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and was available for a limited number of buyers. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we did a number of these bookings being cancelled by the buyers due to various reasons. While most of these vehicles were sold, there are still a few of these which are still waiting at the dealerships to be picked by some hardcore driving enthusiast. The stated price in the deal is almost 6 lakh cheaper than the original price and will lead to huge savings for the buyer. Talking about the car, the new Octavia RS 245 is powered by a 2.0-L TSI engine that comes mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox. As the name suggests, this engine churns out 245 Ps of max power while the peak torque output stands at 370 Nm. The power from this mighty engine is transferred to the front wheels making it one of the fastest front-wheel-drive machines in the country.
