Citroen provides the automatic C3 Aircross in two distinct variants: Max and Plus. In terms of features, it includes a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with mobile connectivity, a new seven-inch TFT cluster, USB charging, a reverse parking camera with sensors, roof-mounted rear aircon vents, a rear wiper with washer, remote engine start, and remote AC preconditioning.

The automaker has initiated the booking process for this SUV in advance of its official launch scheduled for January 29, 2024. Prospective customers interested in securing the model can reserve it with a token amount of Rs. 25,000 at their nearest authorized dealership.

Powertrain

The Indian version of the C3 Aircross automatic will mirror the model available in Indonesia, featuring a 6-speed unit sourced from Japanese transmission maker Aisin. The familiar 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine from the manual variant will continue to power the automatic version. Sources suggest that the automatic gearbox option is likely to be offered on the top two variants, and any potential adjustments in power or torque output for the Indian variant remain to be confirmed.

According to certain reports, the prices for the C3 Aircross automatic are anticipated to be approximately Rs. 1 lakh higher than the equivalent manual-gearbox equipped variant. Additionally, information from dealers indicates that the starting price for the C3 Aircross automatic might be positioned lower than its competitors in the market.
