Citroen C4 Coupe SUV Spotted During Testing In India, All Details

Citroen C4 is a coupe-style compact crossover SUV available in some European markets with petrol, diesel, and electric powertrain options. A few days ago, the C4 compact crossover SUV was spotted during testing in India. However, the test unit that has been spotted in India is not the latest gen model of the C4. Rather, it's the previous-gen C4 Cactus facelift, which was launched in the European markets in 2018. Since then, it has been succeeded by the coupe style 3rd-gen C4 compact crossover SUV. Though this could just be a part of Citroen's global testing cycle, there is a possibility that Citroen might be benchmarking this SUV to check its feasibility for an India launch sometime in the future.

What's Different In Citroen C4 SUV?

The Citreon C4 Cactus is the previous gen model of the C4 SUV. In the front, it gets a similar design to other Citroen cars. There's a slim upper grill that gets a neatly integrated Citroen logo, DRLs, & turn indicators. Below it, there are the headlamps of the vehicle. There are also fog lamps at the very bottom of the bumper. At the rear, there are rectangular dual-pod taillamps with rounded corners. The test unit spotted in India also had a rear wiper, washer, and defogger.

Moreover, the C4 Cactus also gets rugged cladding all around it, giving it the crossover SUV look. The C4 test vehicle also had a rear spoiler, a shark fin antenna, chunky roof rails, a blacked-out roof, and dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Verdict: Citroen is all geared up to expand its footprint & portfolio in the Indian market with the launch of several new products in the years to come. It is all set to launch the C3 Aircross SUV in India in the coming few weeks. Thus we can expect that Citroen will also bring the coupe-style C4 compact crossover SUV to India sometime in the future.
