Citroen C3

Before diving into the details, let's discuss some obvious facts about this French automaker. Citroen entered the Indian market in 2021, and despite offering great products with class-leading engines and suspension setups that are well-suited for our roads, they haven't been able to make a significant impact. The main reason for this is the lack of features that Indian consumers demand the most, such as a sunroof, large screens, ventilated seats, and even electrically adjustable seats.

The Citroen C3, the brand's most affordable car, offers a spacious cabin, a fuel-efficient engine, and even comes with a CNG option at a competitive price. However, it hasn't been widely accepted, not due to its lack of features, but rather because of the overall brand perception. Now, a short video circulating online showcases the C3's steering wheel, which retains the same shape, but with visible cruise control switches on the left panel of the steering-mounted controls. This brief clip hints at the upcoming version of the car, likely to be called the C3X.

Moreover, in this short clip, we can spot the 7-inch digital TFT cluster and a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen. Additionally, on the far-right panel, several switches are visible. One last significant detail revealed by the video is the hood, along with a new red color, which we believe is the Garnet Red we've seen on the Citroen Basalt. Even in such a brief clip, these key details have emerged.

Verdict
Citroen has launched several versions of the C3 in recent months, including the C3 Sport, Dark Edition, and even an electrified version. Now, they're adding more features and introducing a new moniker. This car has the potential to perform well in sales, and the EV variant is already visible in Delhi NCR's taxi fleet. However, it still requires more marketing to truly make an impact. Hopefully, with these added features, more people will be drawn to the C3 and experience the excellence of French engineering.
