Hero Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition Launched At Rs 1.67 Lakh!

The Hero Xpulse 200 4V has been around for quite a while, and the Indian bike maker has revealed a special edition ahead of the upcoming Dakar Rally. The Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition is based on the more hardcore Pro variant, and not a lot seems to be different between these motorcycles.

Hero Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition

The Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition does not appear too different from the Xpulse 200 4V Pro, as it comes with the same design and raised stance. It gets a unique Gloss Goldfish Silver paint scheme, with Dakar-specific livery and logos.

The Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition gets 270mm ground clearance, which is the same as the Xpulse 200 4V Pro. Since it also gets the same 250mm of travel on the front suspension, the Dakar Edition likely retains the same chassis and hardware setup as the Xpulse 200 4V Pro.

The clutch case of the Dakar Edition receives a different, bronze-like paint finish, and it appears to be the same 199cc, oil-cooled engine, producing 18.9bhp and 17.35Nm of torque, paired to 5-speed gearbox.

The Dakar Edition also receives handlebar risers as standard, ABS with three ride modes, knuckle guards, and a rally-style windscreen which is 60mm taller.
