Reliable 1.5-litre i-VTEC Engine
This engine is in the market for more than 15 years and with time it has only evolved. This is the most reliable engine which makes as much as 117 bhp with 145 Nm of peak torque. The NVH levels on this unit are negligent and it is only at higher speeds when you rev the engine too hard, you feel the noise.

Very Economical To Run
Just recently Honda upgraded the 1.5L petrol engine to the latest BS6 emission norms. And the ARAI certified fuel economy is stated at 17.4 km/l for the manual transmission and the automatic is as high as 18 km/l. The City comes with a 5-speed manual and an optional CVT gearbox!

With rivals like Maruti Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Vento, Skoda Rapid and Toyota Yaris, the City still looks fresh even in its fourth-gen avatar. The headlights, foglights and taillights are offered with LED treatment and it also comes with LED DRL (Daytime Running Lights). The top-spec of City gets 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The interior of the City gets a dual-tone colour scheme of beige and black. The dashboard looks premium and is finished in gunmetal finish with piano black. And you get a larger touchscreen infotainment system which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The top-spec trims get leatherette upholstery, electric sunroof, engine start/stop function, automatic climate control, tilt and telescopic steering wheel and among others.

Safety Features
Honda City offers dual airbags, ABS (Antilock braking system) with EBD (Electronic brake force distribution), high-speed alert system, front seat belt warning, ISOFIX mount child seats, rear parking sensors as standard across all trims. It is the top-spec trims which receives as much as 6 airbags which comes as a necessity for those looking for an added safety.

Prices
With the all-new City coming in, Honda is offering hefty discounts on the current-gen model and the list for the same has been attached at the start. The prices for this model range from Rs 9.91 lakh and goes up to Rs 14.31 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
