Along with this, wooden inserts have found their use on AC vents, infotainment screen garnish, dashboard garnish & around roof speakers as well. To compensate for the black plastic ambience all the plastic door panels including the whole dashboard have been repainted in beige colour.

Transmission options include a 6-speed manual gearbox as well as a 6-speed torque converter gearbox. Along with this, Thar offers a transfer case with a manually locking rear differential for tackling complex off-road situations.
