Original Article - October 14, 2020; Classic Legends has recently revealed its portfolio in Nepal. The sales of the Jawa bikes in Nepal has commenced from today and the brand will be offering Jawa and the Jawa 42 in the start while it also plans to introduce Perak in the country later sometime. The Jawa motorcycles launched in Nepal are priced from NPR 6.2 lakh which translates to roughly INR 3.9 lakh. With this being said, read on to know more details about the Jawa motorcycles available in Nepal.
As of now, the brand will be exporting the bikes in the neighboring country and has appointed Agni Motoinc Pvt Ltd as its official distributor partner in Nepal. It is also worth noting the fact that Agni Motoinc Pvt Ltd is also the only authorized distributor of Mahindra's range of PVs and CVs in Nepal. While there are only two dealerships located at Uttardhoka and Teku in Kathmandu, the brand plans to increase its dealership network in the country with time.

Currently, the list of Jawa Motorcycles launched in Nepal includes:
- Jawa Single ABS
- Jawa Dual ABS
- Jawa 42 Single ABS
- Jawa 42 Dual ABS
Powering these bikes is a BS6 compliant engine that delivers 27 bhp and 28 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the retro-inspired bikes directly rival against the Royal Enfield 350 bike. It is worth noting that the price of the Jawa bikes in Nepal is significantly higher than the Indian pricing due to Nepal's high import tax and customs duty.
