Jeep Grand Cherokee Signature Edition Details

The Grand Cherokee Signature Edition will retain the familiar design of the regular car, but there will be cosmetic tweaks to make it stand out and to lay emphsis on the exclusivity of the Signature Edition. That said, we can expect decals, new paint schemes, chrome/de-chromed treatment, alloy rims and badging on the outside.
The interiors of the Grand Cherokee Signature Edition will also be familiar to the regular car, but we can expect some contrast stitching, highlights, and some badging or elements to differentiate it. The Grand Cherokee, as it is, already comes with a premium interior setup, but we can probably expect some beige or other treatment.

While the Signature Edition is expected to bring in some extra features, the regular Grand Cherokee already comes equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, another 10.25-inch passenger screen, a 360-degree camera, a head-up display, an ADAS suite, powered tailgate, a panoramic sunroof, a heated steering wheel, the Quadra-Trac 4x4 system, and the Selec-Terrain traction control system among many other things.

The Grand Cherokee Signature Edition will continue to feature the same 2.0-litre, turbo-petrol powertrain producing 268bhp and 500Nm of torque, paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Sadly, if you're hoping for the more powerful V6 or the Pentastar engines, that's just wishful thinking at this point.

Verdict
Given the demand for small urban cars and improving EV infrastructure, there is good scope for new models under the Rs 10 lakh bracket. The Leapmotor T03 might not be the most striking EV, but it ticks all the right boxes as a solution for urban mobility.
