The Kia Carens, the affordable MPV in the Kia India lineup, has become more expensive by Rs 10,000. The automaker made this change when they revamped the variant lineup of their popular models - Sonet, Seltos, and Carens. As a result, all variants are now more expensive by Rs 10,000, with prices starting at Rs 10,59,900. This MPV has stood the test of time and has turned out to be a massive success for Kia India, as premium customers who don't want to buy an Ertiga or XL6 and don't have the budget for an Innova Hycross find solace in this vehicle. It packs everything one would expect from such a large car and offers a tremendous amount of comfort.
It is available with three engine options and four transmission choices. Specifically, customers can choose from a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine with a 6-speed manual, a 1.5L T-GDi with a 6iMT and a 7-DCT, and finally, a 1.5L diesel with a 6-MT and a 6-AT.

Verdict
The price of the Kia Carens has been hiked, but a Rs 10,000 increase won't make much of a difference, as this is such a minimal amount for such a large car. It continues to sell exceptionally well and is also visible in taxi fleets, which speaks to its reliability. Additionally, this vehicle is fantastic in terms of features, engine choices, spacious cabin, and comfortable ride quality.
